Not in the mail but will be a few weeks before I get it. Sister is traveling on the east coast and likes antiques and came across this. Looks decent and was a good price

Anxious to get started, I am waiting for:

Dovo Best Quality Black 5/8" Straight Razor & Strop Set (with the DVD, oil, and sleeve options) -- Straight Razor Designs
Curved Stand, Chrome For Straight Razors -- Amazon
Caria All Natural Menthol Shaving Soap with Shea Kokum Peppermint & Lavender -- Amazon (apparently, this is being shipped from Turkey.)
Waiting for my barber (with his barber's discount) to get me some Clubman Beard Oil and Beard Balm.

I have a whole pile of shave cream samples for myself and my dad for Father's day (also giving him a 1952* super speed gillette and a bunch of blades). Also I picked up some Pinaud samples (original, special reserve and musk) and a tub of TOBS cedarwood. Oh and speick aftershave lotion, I thought I heard good things?

*I hope it's a 1952, my research indicates that and that was the year he was born. He'll appreciate the irony of shaving with something the same age as him.

    List o' samples:
MdC original and foie gras(I know it's fougere, but my brain doesn't see that at first)
    TOBS Eton College & Sandalwood
    Barrister&Man orange & cedar
St. James of London cedarwood & clarysage, and sandalwood & bergamont
    Xpec

He better like one of these or even better yet, multiple. He's a cheap guy, so these are really just experiments for future gifts for my mother. My mom picks out his AS, she knows what he likes AND what she likes, plus he can't stop sneezing going to that horrendously stinky part of stores! (Him and I have some wicked sensitive shnozzes)

Have you used the beard oil before? If so how is it? What is the price on it?

Now to hover over the tracking number... waiting for it to arrive from the other side of the world... then another hover/wait to be returned from honing...
