No, we have simple mailboxes out by the street. Not an actual Post Office box. Anyone walking (or driving) by can help themselves.

I have to go into the post office building to get to our PO boxes here. Then open your personal box with a key. But if you have a box at your address then it is the same as you have. Sorry I misunderstood

Tom any chance you paid it with a Visa card?
If I remember correctly, they have some sort of insurance for things bought with their card by default.sharptonn likes this.

Found it. It's called "Purchase Security" and it explicitly doesn't cover items under the care of USPS.
