    Ah well. I have one, was just looking to upgrade in condition a bit. Could have been worse!

    BTW, outback....YOU have a Wade and Butcher in the mail! 13/16 plus!

    Sit by the mailbox is all I can say!

    Wow your mailbox doesn't lock? I've never seen a PO Box that doesn't. And we're in a real small town. Still very sorry to hear that. And I also hate a thief

    No, we have simple mailboxes out by the street. Not an actual Post Office box. Anyone walking (or driving) by can help themselves.

    I have to go into the post office building to get to our PO boxes here. Then open your personal box with a key. But if you have a box at your address then it is the same as you have. Sorry I misunderstood

    Tom any chance you paid it with a Visa card?

    If I remember correctly, they have some sort of insurance for things bought with their card by default.

    Found it. It's called "Purchase Security" and it explicitly doesn't cover items under the care of USPS.

    Well, it was a bit less than 50 bucks with shipping. I expect the hoops I would have to jump through ain't worth it.
    So by now, some thug has likely busted that thin blade!

    Do you have the tracking #? I think all USPS is automatically insured up to $100
