Kanayama 70000 strop. Cant wait. My first strop i shreaded to pieces. My second strop is only a week old but not a single cut. When i.get the 70000 i think ill wait a month or two if i can keep the temptations at bay. Sure dont want to cut it up.
Also have a couple stones coming. A Jnat and a diamond card for prep.
The suspence is killing me.It's just Sharpening, right?

On your palm!
Hi Jerry, Congratulations on your selection of the Kanayama 70000. It is a magnificent strop and it will bring you many years of quality use. HOWEVER I suggest that for at least 3 months you rub it with your hands AND only use a butter knife as you PRACTICE stropping on it. It takes months to learn the correct way to properly strop a straight razor and you sure do not want to cut this beautiful strop. Be patient and take your time to learn this simple task because it is not so simple. When you get to the point where you can strop on the Palm of your hand, then you can safely use that beautiful strop. Good luck my friend.
Proper prior planning prevents piss poor performance.
