Well Phrank, I do have weakness for Elliot razors. It appears that one is a swagged blade with a clipped point. A bit unusual. The package in general is looking good. My birthday present showed up today. Pics later.

Yes, he is a madman in terms of his designs, stellar stuff, I have the Elliot "Damascus" and a frame backed razor with a big belly tang that is way out there....this newest one has all the fixin's it looks like, and looks like it might just need some time on the stones and nothing more.

I was on Amazon ordering an stone for my tormek and for some reason, this Barbicide container popped up for 'related/suggested items.' Having wanted one for my shave den for awhile, I went ahead a clicked buy it. Glad I did, it takes me back to Dad's old barber shop.

Decided I would give my Naniwa SS stones some more work. They seem to do better than the coticules on my quarter hollow-half hollow blades. That being said I picked up a 3k SS stone to work into the synthetic progression.

After several conversations with Alex, I went for an Ozaki gray tomae JNat. Alex has been fantastic to work with and very patient answering all my JNat noob questions. Very excited to try this stone out!

I hope he doesn't mind me posting a pic from his website.

I just purchased a NOS Filarmonica 13 in Pearl Scales from a seller in Spain. I don't have pictures of the actual razor, but this photograph is the best representation I could find. It comes with a Filarmonica loom strop and strop paste.

I have never had a scuttle and because I face lather, I feel I have not missed anything, however Tabac is awesome and I really wish the little lady liked it. I hope your wife likes it.
