It may have a rough spot or two, but considering I paid more for the flat-rate shipping than my winning bid, I'll be tickled as long as it functions perfectly!

This, along with a few purchases of restoration tools lately, will have me quite satisfied for a while! Or at least until I can make some sort of income from this hobby, rather than spending....
I've got one of those, was never used when I got it. Used it once or twice. Shaves are good, comparable to DE shaves. They are a bit of a hassle. You have to dry the blade carefully, especially the hole in the blade that takes the pin on the handle. Blade is Sheffield carbon steel.

My friend I think if there was a anti-trophy for slow mail, it would always be at my house. I feel your frustration. Slow mail is one of the things that drives me crazy.

Hmmm. Not sure, there may have been replacements you could order back in the day. Now, your best bet is probably to look for incomplete Rolls Razors or parts on the 'Bay.

As soon as I saw this posted I googled it. There are boxed replacement hones on ebay. I only saw one but I was only skimming briefly. I'm sure you could dig one up.

Westholme strop fresh in. It is a beauty. The leather feels just like my DryGulch strop, so I'm pretty happy, the linen component is very fine and is just like my ScuppleWorks linen. It is all my preferences together.
