I've got one of those, was never used when I got it. Used it once or twice. Shaves are good, comparable to DE shaves. They are a bit of a hassle. You have to dry the blade carefully, especially the hole in the blade that takes the pin on the handle. Blade is Sheffield carbon steel. Originally Posted by Crawler

It may have a rough spot or two, but considering I paid more for the flat-rate shipping than my winning bid, I'll be tickled as long as it functions perfectly!

My friend I think if there was a anti-trophy for slow mail, it would always be at my house. I feel your frustration. Slow mail is one of the things that drives me crazy.

Westholme strop fresh in. It is a beauty. The leather feels just like my DryGulch strop, so I'm pretty happy, the linen component is very fine and is just like my ScuppleWorks linen. It is all my preferences together.It's not what you know, it's who you take fishing!
