Well that's no good. I've had that happen a few times to me at a couple of post offices. Hope they get it moving along soon Dave.

True. But I have also seen some that were definitely abused & neglected! I've seen ones bent bad enough that neither side would latch closed. I've also seen some with rust covering more than 3/4's of any and all metal, plus some of the hone & strop!

All will need new scales due to imminent cell rot, and some bolster, and inlay re-applications, a lil gold wash here and there redone as well, but right up my ally for snow bound projects in a few months.
There is a complete Shapleigh Hardware Co. set from St. Louis, blade has beautiful spine stamping of the company name running up it, sweet barbers hone, and complete with Shapleigh paperweight to keep all my sandpaper from flying hither and yon in the shop.

A Sta Sharp, and a craftsman, both in gassy faux tortoise currently, also in superb condition.

Wanted to post this up as a set, with thanks to my Houston compadre for sending them up north to me for restoration and appreciation.
    Cheers men, enjoy your Sunday.

I really like Grobet files, some of my gravers are made by them too.

Thanks, Dan. That's not the only razor you could tease me with. It is a beauty.
