I've gotten to where I like the small stones, especially the narrow ones.
Nice one Paul, are they flat?

I must have a new sickness. Just bought this lot of stones.
I'm really smitten with these Arks lately.

I'm eager to see what these dirty, mystery stones are. I was really after the NOS Buck set and mainly the pink washita but the mystery nstones are definitely intriguing.

The last piece in the puzzle for the pressure pot I'm putting together, to eventually try my hand at casting some of my own resin blanks for brush handles and maybe scales

Wasn't planning to get into this just yet (and likely won't in the near future), but found a deal I couldn't pass up on one of the harbor freight paint pots. Pot is in fine condition, but it was missing the regulator and gauge (which was likely crap quality anyway), so it was marked down from $100 to $50, and I talked them into taking $30

Got the rest of it all done up with parts I had laying around. All new connections to the exterior, a dedicated regulator at the inlet with a moisture trap, and a separate tank pressure gauge.....I'm a little scared of this one, to be honest. Going to make damn sure i have every safety net in place that I can, to be sure I don't over-pressurize this thing.
Regulator will be set to no more than 50psi, tank claims 60psi max.

Final part arriving today is the pressure relief valve, that will be set to pop at 55psi.

    Aloha!

I am a fan of Merkur DE razors. I have a few but have always wanted to try the SLANT BAR scything action DE by Merkur, the 39c - Sledgehammer. So, I finally pulled the trigger. It will be here tomorrow. I'm really looking forward to trying it. I'll do my typical Feather blade. If I find that too agressive, I'll try my Lord blades, then Bolzano, then SuperMax, then .... well, the list goes on and on as I am sure it does for you gents. I'll find the right blade for that razor and my beard/skin.

Good choice, I have the 37c, shorter handle, and really like it. Don't worry, you know how to shave so it'll go well. Never found the slant particularly aggressive and think it got that reputation from tyros trying it. Enjoy.

Hey thanks, Bob. Yes, I didn't think it would be too agressive, but just in case I do have (like most of the DE guys here) a plethora of DE blades I can try. My guess is I'll just pop in my beloved Feather blade and be off to the races without looking back.

A 10ml decant of Bentley Bentley for Men Intense EDT, another of Rasasi Al Wisam Day EDP, and a 100ml bottle of Rémy Latour Cigar EDT.

You can have everything, and still not have enough.
I'd give it all up, for just a little more.
