I helped a young man over in India and NONE of the Barbers-Old or Young had any actual straight razors, strops etc/not even at home as keepsakes.

It seems when the Aids thing came around they were all tossed/YUP thrown away and all he could find were barbers using the Shavettes. I don't know if this was by Government Order or what.

After I gave him a straight razor and a strop he was able to find an old barber who helped him learn how to use it and actually gave him a couple of barber hones.

I haven't treated myself to a razor in quite a while. I have this beast of a Herder coming in, close to 8/8.

Size: 22.9 KB Just got this at auction. I am planning on teaching a class on straight shaving to my fellow teachers, and wanted to get something as a door prize. I figured the cup and brush would be good give away material, and the strop might stay with me. The razor????? IDK
