    Yessir Shaun.
Had a new member reach out about the rubberset shapes, and got me itching.
Plus I had a few failures making some thinner walled vessels that after reflection and research I realized I wasn’t using the right tools for some of the cuts I was attempting.
Not one to blame the tool so much as the hand guiding it usually but I concede that there is a lot I don’t know about wood turning yet, and carbide tools aren’t always the means to the end.
Specially when the journey is part of the fun.

Everyone loves your brushes and I for one have missed the level of activity that once occupied the brush makers alcove.

Ordered some Stirling Black Cherry and Glacial Lemon Chill shave soaps. I'm afraid if I was willing to eat paste in kindergarten this stuff is gonna be impossible to not nibble on.

Got this cup and brush in the mail today. Brush has a musty smell to it as in old. It could still be the original knot. No name or number stamp on it.
The Cup is in perfect shape. Just another shave cup for the collection. Still looking for the original Williams shave cup.
Now to find info on cleaning/sanitizing an old brush.

Just took a risk at auction on this vintage Boker King Cutter. There is only the one picture to go on but it looks like it could be in really good condition (patina but no honewear and great goldwash). If it works out, $56 Canadian (about $42 USD) is a great deal for this IMHO.

Just got this delivered to the door on Sunday.
    Belomo Loupe 10x.

Just compared it to my Chinese 40x and I can tell its better. Easier on the eye strain and shows a bit more detail. As far as magnification, my 40x is real NOT more. Goes to show a cheap loupe works but its not accurate.

Thanks to Mark for pointing out the low price so i could pick one up.
