I never really understood why the changeable blade never took off. It seems that an exchange a blade service would be an easy sell. I also never understood how the canned goo has managed to push the brush and soap out of the top spot in the market place. Too many things to ponder.

    P.S.
    Sorry about the funeral.

I like using it with the guard, for cleaning up the back of my neck after giving myself a hair cut.
You found a nice one. Since I don't have new blades I'm going to hone this one. Thanks for the tip about the stabilizer. I'll tape the spine and give it a go.

All but two blades are used, and in need of honing, and cleaning.

    Have you honed one yet?

    Yep, only one.
They hone just like a straight, with one layer of tape. Ya just have to mind the stabilizer.

I did add a slight grin to the blade, so I could shave without the guard. ( seen in pic with guard attached ).

Found this nice 13/16 MJ Higgins at the flea market today, near wedge with etch and pearl inlay on scale. It is a hefty sucker.

Default A nice day at the Antiques Fair

Stopped into my favorite little mercantile today and picked a couple of things up. Of course I had to stop into an antiques store as well. I picked up a Robeson Sure Edge "The Razor that fits your face".
The sticker on the scale says, "Ground and honed for heavy beards...very tender skin...for nervous man". Since some of the sticker is missing, I wasn't sure what the complete sticker said.

Somebody on another forum helped me and mystery solved[emoji1]
