    Colleen,

Just for kicks I did a search for completed cigar box auctions on ebay. A quick look showed fairly run of the mill boxes going for between $1 and $4 apiece including shipping. Here's a couple examples:

Joe, I have decided that you are the guru of cyberspace! I have looked at some of the lots on Ebay, and I can see that it would pay to look more frequently.

One of the men who contacted me at the "Cigar Pass" forum, seems to be "in the business"......he said, " I have hundreds of boxes" his name is "Humberto". With a name like that, he's got to be in the business right...chuckle. Now the goal for me is to appear to be a savvy business woman, and establish a nice business/trade of soap'n cigar boxes.

I can't remember if I asked anyone's opinion here on this.....but I LOVE a nice cigar box, and think they would be a Handsome container for a gift set of Traditional Shaving items.

What do you think? Being of the Masculine mind set.....

We're approx 3-weeks into this round of evaluation... hopefully most everyone has (or is close to) completing their testing and has forwarded results to Colleen (or will shortly). Realizing we're in the Summer months with vacations, the 4th of July holiday, etc. to distract us, is anyone behind and needs a significant amount of additional time?

    Good Morning Gentlemen!

I do think lots of folks are busy, just in general. Summertime vacations, cutting grass, yard work etc. But all of this is OK....because I'm gonna break right outta the shute and say that the overall BASE winner in is......
Ha, I can't remember either.....the white one...lol. Most feel that the scents are improved over the last round, one person feels the scent that he liked in the last round is no longer there. One person wishes for a higher alcohol content.......

The bottom line is, each of you are different...no one Aftershave is going to fit the bill. So in terms of what my job is "here" which is to develop an Aftershave that will have the SRP label on it. My focus is to develop an Aftershave with a broad range of appeal for your particular market. Which is educated, working class men....age range, I'll guess mostly 25 and up, with the majority age range between 40 ...lol....well, we'll leave that other part open

I actually asked one of our silent testers for his opinion on this last round of aftershaves, and he felt that they were improved over the first version....but I could also tell "somehow lacking".

I know that you have decided that it is more "fair" so as to have an unbiased opinion across the board by not openly discussing your thoughts.....but for me, and perhaps it is just me but our methods thus far, only leave me guessing as to what I need to do next. It is the WHY behind your answers, that leads to the secret of formulating.

Do I sound like I'm scolding... This is not my intent....this is the business me this morning...( OMG, she has different personalities "insert music from jaws" )

It has occurred to me that I have been thinking to hard ( can't see the forest for the trees kinda thing) At this point, my guess is that what is truly needed here is an old fashioned, Barber Shop Pinaud Clubman style aftershave....is this correct ? Scented with Essential oils or not, a nice menthol zing, and a good old fashioned alcohol sting. Am I right???????????

    XXWarm Regards, Colleen

Ok here I am out of the shute.. I think both bases are very good. I am using yellow today. I must admit that the scents are confusing me though. Yes I am the one who lost his scent... I thought the original #3 smelled like an old after shave Hawiian Surf and now it does not. That didn't mean it didn't smell good only it didn't smell like Hawiian Surf. I think the reason I am confused is that originally each of the three samples were very different. Now they are a lot closer. It is much easier when three samples are at different ends of the spectrum to select one than when they are very close. Sorry if my rambling doesn't make scense. I still have a little left of each and will continue testing.
