I've heard that Lucien was like MdC without the scent. Would that be an accurate description?

    Sorry thread hijack
Well, it's from France. IMO there's not much that compares to MdC. I have the Lucien, and for me...it's.. com se com sa.

However, I think he is still trying new approaches to soap making and scent, so the newer versions of Lucien may be completely different from my tin which was bought from Jason's first stock of Lucien.

If you haven't tried MdC.....I highly recommend it!!! It will give you a benchmark to judge the different soaps.

    Regards,

    Howard

I could mentor in whittering and irreverence I suppose, but I am not sure if that would help with shaving

I was on Jason's site again this evening and it looks like he's taking "pre-orders" it said he's expecting shipment this week or by the end of it.

Too true, I have a few bars of lindt dark chocolate for just such moments too, I found the sea salt one to be very nice.

I cant remember what the other flavours were that I got, but the cherry and strawberry ones are good too, I don't think I was game to try the chilli, is it quite subtle?

Lindt chili is nice and warming. I'll have to find the sea salt one somewhere.

Martin De Candre, it is a French brand of soap. It is pricey but very nice and goes a long way.
