Have owned this soap for a good four years now and have been getting along very well with it.
Recently got sent a sample of the fougere and it smells divine. Performance is right up there with the original. Looks like I will be buying one of these too.

Just got a note from Jason. His order is in transit and may be here by the weekend. I am really looking forward to trying this soap.

Thanked: 375My MDC was at the front door yesterday. Gave it a go last night and it left my face feeling pretty good. Mild scent which I like, fits right in with my CADE for lather and a light scent.

My jar arrived yesterday and I used it this morning. Per EdH, I swirled a thoroughly soaked Frank's Best Badger 8 times lightly around the top of the jar. You could barely see any soap on the tips.
I proceeded to paint brush on my cheeks and the soap literally exploded. The lather just kept building. This soap is economical as others have noted.
Did three dips in warm water building a good creamy lather and shaved. It was a good shave. I liked the glide and cushion and the Fougere scent is really nice.
This is a great product.
Included in the box was a card written in English detailing how to use the soap. It recommended leaving the jar top off so the product would dry. Supposedly this will increase the life of the jar.
Do other users leave the top off the jar?

I shave at night. I leave the lid off all night
And cover it up in the morning.
