The newest formulation of CRSW is just terrific. Quality ingredients, excellent cushion, glide, and post shave feel, a variety of scents, and a very nice and responsive soap maker. CRSW and Mike's are always in my rotation, although lately Oleo Soapworts and Wholly Kaw donkey milk soaps have been crowding them out.

Thanked: 4206Ouch, that hurts to look at.
Sorry bout your brush.
Anyone else use the bathroom that might have dropped it without you knowing?
Looks like it swelled almost. Any signs of blunt force impact around the handle?

Hard to imagine that the swelling of the hairs caused that but I'm not experienced enough to rule it out. And just a drop on the floor, even on a tiled floor, I dought would cause that much damage. Damn Grimlins messing with your stuff. Sorry for your loss and hope you figure out what happened. It didn't get down below 0 degrees and you left it soppy wet?
It's just Sharpening, right?

Thinking the brush wasn't dried properly and moisture collected and expanded in the base, maybe it was put in water that was too hot and that weakened it.....something caused the base to expand enough that it cracked...but it's a mystery for sure....
