Thanked: 37I had a chance to revisit AOS. This time in a cream. I tried the Eucalyptus and had a very positive experience over several shaves. The cream builds lather easily and protects the face wonderfully. There was more than enough cushion and glide. I wasn't sure I'd enjoy the Eucalyptus scent and feel, but enjoy it, I did. What really stood out was the post shave feel. As you might expect, the Eucalyptus was invigorating, but it left my skin wonderfully soft.
As a heads up for those sensitive to stronger scents, the scent is intense, but dissipated quickly post shave. I'm glad to have tried AOS again, even as I still have a few pucks of the old tallow formulation. I find myself reaching for the new formulation AOS more than anticipated.

After reading all of the rave reviews, Wholly Kaw samples are officially on my Christmas list! Of course I also want to try some Oleo but the Old Orchard is the only scent that has grabbed my attention and it seems to sell out as quickly as it is restocked.

Does anyone have experience with the Wholly Kaw products comparing the Tallow (no donkey) with the Tallow (with donkey)? It is promoted as the donkey milk adds another level of comfort, better hydration, and skin feeling more moisturized. I am going to order a few of the donkey milk products soon. Just wondering if anyone has a first hand comparison.

Just another perspective on the stronger scented soaps. Personally, I love and seek them out just for that lingering scent. YMMV as always, but isn't it great to have such a dizzying array of choices?!
OH, and since you asked Robini, I like the vegan versions just as much as the Donkey Milk; both feel very luxurious to me.Last edited by ScoutHikerDad; 11-16-2017 at 03:31 AM.

It was pointed out to me that the sample pack they offer does not include the soaps with donkey milk. So as my package was to be sent out today sometime ive sent a pm asking for a change to the donkey milk products. Hope its not too late.
So if you order the samples be sure to see what it contains. If its too late then ill just have to go by scent on what i want i guess and know from all the great posts of what to order next time.
Live and learn i guess.
Update... caught it in time. They are going to fix me up. Cool!Last edited by Gasman; 11-16-2017 at 03:12 PM.

I haven't tried their soap with donkey milk, but their regular tallow-based soap is superb! If the donkey milk improves the soap, in any way, then they'll have the best tallow-based soap being offered, at the moment, excluding scents as this is extremely subjective.
I plan on trying some of their donkey milk soaps, at some point, after I receive my samples as I need to find a few scents I like before ordering the soap with the donkey milk.Laughter, Love, & Shaving

Thanked: 1081Count yourselfs lucky fellas, went to order some wholly kaw and they wanted 33 bucks for shipping to little old England, that puts it in the same price range as MDC but roughly half the amount. In the words of Obie..."Oy!"
