Thread: Are there any more good tallow triple-milled soaps - besides DRH, MWF, Tabac and C&S?

Czech & Speake shaving soap is made by Valobra. It is the same formula - vegetal, not tallow based.

Not really: Sodium Tallowate is the first ingredient: see here for example.

You are right @dimab. Valobra & Czech & Speake are tallow based.

As to AoS, regrettably they also went vegetal
I don't know of any bowl for the Haslinger pucks, but they would be better suited for a mug, like the Old Spice ones. To facilitate things, they fit very well in the Pyrex 1 cup glass gars. Furthermore, you can even grate a few pucks into any (wooden) bowl of your choice.

Regarding AoS, I was referring to the older stock tallow-based soaps that you can still find on-line.

That is a bit odd as I was just checking their ebay location and they have the AoS tallow-based refill 3-packs, still available.

They probably just don't ship internationally, as I see their entire eBay shop as empty. It happens

Well, that is very unfortunate. Maybe, you could ask one of the US members to see if they could assist you, in some way.
    Good luck.

Green Mountain soaps are my favorite tallow based soaps. I grate them into a used tub. They are also available from the SRD website and I believe they will ship internationally.

Default What's the issue with MWF?

I see it mentioned so often, including in this thread, that MWF is a poor latherer, yet I get a stupendous lather from it without effort. it's certainly one of my top tier soaps.

You are correct. MWF lathers as well as any soap I have. Perhaps others may have a technique issue, but I find it to be reliable and easy to use.
