I do like Tabac, mainly for the nice solid lather/cream that they produce. Though I, surely not unlike many, did have to grow accustomed to the scent, I appreciate it now, not sure what it is or is like, but what initially and even now I have to somewhat overcome is what seems like an 'asphyxiating' quality about it's smell. It's like, if you have or have had a mother or wife or girlfriend or other female who used a lot of hair spray and you happen to be right there when they blast it on and you kind of get a good breath of it, to me the Tabac has that same asphyxiating quality. Still great lather.

Yes, exactly my experience and thoughts (are you reading my mind here, dons tin foil hat). All the same, I ended up liking the scent. The lather is, for the price, excellent.

I just tried Tabac for the very first time about an hour ago, it's only my 5th SR shave over all.

I personally think it just smells like a fresh, clean soap. A little floral. I didn't get the effect that some people have reported such as tobacco, leather and flashbacks to 1975. But more important to me, it made for a much smoother shave. Even finishing with my Shick was way more pleasant.

    I'm hooked.

If you are flashing back all the way to 1975, you are using too much product. Tabac is full on 1979...

    HOLD THE PHONE A SECOND!!!

    I was just re-reading that......

    Even finishing with my Shick....

    j/k!

Haha yeah it's ok to call me out on that Shick, I'm still learning and cleaning up with that "razor". But it's time on my sink is quickly nearing an end...
