Thanked: 13I cant wait to try other scents but you need ao little of Al's cream it takes a while to burn through the tub.
Hell, I'd even buy a ten sampler pack if it let me zero in on my starting lineup.

I just got a couple of tubs from Al this week - Calypso and Bodega. All I can say is (pardon the pun), I was blown away!
I would rank it's performance right up there with my favorites, CF and Caraceni. And in terms of glide or lubricity, maybe even better. Aside from these, it just blows everything else away. At least among the stuff I have tried. Which is a fair amount.
And to think the Bomb is artisan product makes it all the more amazing.

I just received "Goodfella's in the mail last night and I also use T&H, CF, DC. etc..I was blown away by Al's latest attempt. I have purchased Da Bomb in the past, but this by far, is his best work. The Texture/Consistency I'd say, is somewhere between CF and T&H. It lather's fast and big, and the fragrance is just wonderful. Moisture, Cushion, it's all there... This one's a keeper for sure. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it, and I would most definitely buy it again. Good Work Al!

Bodega smells great. The scent is complex, but reminds me of Sweet Almond Oil which C&E discontinued a while back. Great stuff. I am looking to try Boheme next.
Yeah, great stuff Al. I have not tried Fitjar, but the Bomb is head and shoulders above the other artisan soaps and creams I have tried, including Nancy Boy's widely acclaimed shaving cream, and most of the commercial ones as well.
At Al's current introductory price (and very reasonable shipping), it's a no-brainer.

Just tried my first Bomb and, it was all that it's cracked up to be.
I went with the Saigon for my first Bomb. The scent is very different from anything else I've seen on the market. The main note is of ginger, but there is an undercurrent of lemongrass that adds a bit of sweetness to it. The latherability, slickness and glide of this product are amazing!
I followed with a matching ASB, and Al hit another home run. The lemongrass comes through more strongly here. The moisturizing properties of his ASB are great. My skin felt cool and comfortable without greasiness.
If you haven't tried the Bomb, you're truly missing out!

Thanked: 4942I'm afraid that Caraceni and CF still very much reside at the top of my list. I do like the Bomb and the suds are engineered to last. I just can't get used to that greasy feeling from it. All in all a very nice soap though and I like what Al is doing with the scents.
All you boys not using your Caraceni, feel free to send it my way..........
Have fun,
Lynn
