i'm not normally a patchouli guy.. but i spotted the bottle in a girlfriend's bathroom and had always heard good things about kmf.. so i nicked the bottle.. it's very warm and calming.. reminds me of a head shop i used to frequent when i was in high school.. i'm definitely getting an unscented for my almond puck and i'll try out the vanilla as well.. i think they have a mint flavour also.

i received two pucks today, would it be safe to melt these into my dishes?

I believe they're cold-processed soaps so I don't think so, but I may be wrong.

does that mean i have to use the oh so labor intensive cheese shredder method to get it into my nice little dishes?

I believe so, yes. I'm not experienced with it myself, but I remember reading that somewhere on here.

i mashed mine up with a muddler.. then placed the wooden dish directly into my toaster oven.. smoothed it out with the back of a spoon and then placed in the fridge to harden back up.. seemed to have worked fine and i don't believe to have damaged any of the scent.

You might also try a bigger bowl. A large coffee mug should work fine.
