See? Even devout MWF guys can sing the praises of Cade

I also forgot to mention that this stuff is only about $10 for a good sized puck, and the puck lasts a good long time!

Well after so many good reviews I went out and bought the cade soap and cream. I have been using them together and I love them. The scent is very subtle but still very pleasent. Good stuff

I use and really like the Cade pre-shave oil and their face moisturizing cream. I guess I'm going to have to try their shave cream and soap. Thanks for all the info guys.

I think the mixed reviews are mostly about the Cade cream, which by most accounts is mediocre at the very best. I'm not sure I've seen a negative review of the soap, though....

    +1 l'Occitane Cade soap user)))
I use it more than year (varying with Proraso cream and Nivea foam in can) and I have more then 50% of it!!! I really like it with my TI razor and also it makes outstanding scent if I use l'occitane cade aftershave...

I hate this soap. I have tried it all and always get a crappy lather and bad shave. Ive tried hot water, cold water, soft brush, hard brush, with gylercince. I just don't understand!!!!

It happens....I've picked up a couple of soaps that were praised, only to be disappointed. Sometimes it's the water, or any number of reasons like you mentioned.

I've don't give up easily, so I continue to use the soap, even if I have to uber it. Someone posted earlier about scraping the top layer off the soap and it helped tremendously. Sometimes you have to get passed the top layer. I've had some soaps that didn't really perform until I used them 5 or 6 times....

You could probaby grate it, and reform it in the bowl, That may help?

Even your brush will play a part. I have about 9 brushes. Some seem to work better with soaps. YMMV.

This reminds me, I haven't used my Cade in a while - I think I'll bust it out tonight
