Cella, Cella, Cella....
Yes under rated, yes it is. I might add that for me it likes an inexpensive boar brush.
As far a rewrapping Arko use whatever works.
For travel I keep my Arko in a zip lock plastic bag.
If handy I use an aluminum foil wrap.
In the shave den I toss it in a plastic butter tub
so when it drips, it drips where it can be cleaned up after.
If it will be a while before I use it I snap on the lid
so it does not dry and crack. If I am using I leave
it open to the air so it does not get too "soggy".
I have become a fan of kitchen parchment paper.
It breaths and tolerates getting wet. I wrap my
hones in it too (lets them dry slowly).

I'm careful to not get mine wet...which isn't that hard really.
I push it up from the bottom and apply to my face, sit it on the counter to let the tip dry, then push it back in.
Not sure how long the package will last doing this but I don't use it too often as I have other soaps and creams in my rotation as well.

Thanked: 36I quite like the Arko stick. It's not my favourite scent but to me it smells like the bubble mixture I used to play with as a kid rather than urinal cakes, although I can understand the urinal cake thought. I'll be keeping it around.

Thanked: 3225I'll second on the Speick stick and throw out Palmolive and LEA sticks as excellent too. Shaving with a shave stick is simplicity at it's best.

I like a Palmolive stick too. I also got some Palmolive cream, that's really quite good too. I now put my sticks into a bowl after grating, but I used to just unwrap part of the Palmolive stick, and lather up, leave the rest if the stick as is, then just unwrap more as necessary.

Oh the sacrilege, grating shave sticks into a bowl. OK, I'll admit to pressing an Arko stick into a bowl once but I have since learned the error of my ways.
