Thanked: 580Sadly, Wales lost to SA. NZ beat France 62-13, brilliant game. So we play SA in the semi, will probably be Aus - Ireland in the other semi.

I'm not so sure about Ireland - they are badly depleted by injuries and Argentina are a tough side. They will be aware that this is a great opportunity for advancement - and what better country to do it in than England. Don't underestimate the residual animosity from the Falklands war - it still simmers in Argentina.
My service is good, fast and cheap. Select any two and discount the third.

Another close game Graeme just couldn't quite get the result, the All Blacks stepped it up a notch against France they have lost their way over the last few years, there's definitely a connection between their powerful league and the number of foreign rugby stars taking the places of top French players, and I agree with Rob I think Argentina will have to much for the Irish team especially given the loss of Sexton and O'Connell.

Being away, I've managed to catch the results but not the actual games.
Wales I understand played well but were undone by an excellent Fourie du Preez try. The AB's steamrolled the French which sets up an SA vs AB semi. Although the recent meetings between the two have been close, I'll go with an AB victory.
Argentina played well against the Irish notwithstanding having 14 men at one stage and the Scottish were extremely unlucky in going down to the Aussies. So an Argie vs Aussie semi, with my vote going to the Aussies to be victorious.
So in my opinion, we have an all Antipodean final, with the AB's defending their crown.Tony

Thanked: 580Lucky I am not a betting man, would have lost a fortune.. Sounds like Scotland got robbed at the very last minute. Umm.. I predict an Argentina - South African final..

Rugby is a non-existent sport up here where I live, but since they have started airing it up here now, I have started to enjoy this wacky looking game.
Sort of a proper mans NFL.
No padding, no stops in play every 3 seconds and most of all, no freakin ad-breaks!
Look forward to the remaining games for sure.Bjoernar
Um, all of them, any of them that have been in front of me over all these years....
