could anyone tell me if the horsehide pad has heavier draw that the english bridle pad? I have the english bridle and like it a lot, but I'm looking for something with heavier draw.

I have a horsehide strop, and it has almost 0 draw. I'm not sure about SRD's, but I assume it's the same. For more draw than English Bridle, you'd have to go with Latigo.
We have assumed control !

I really like my modular strop, I use one felt pad with CrOx and the rough leather with diamond spray. I use it mainly for a travel strop. I wish it came with a small hole drilled in the handle to hang it for storage, but it's still such a great strop
