wow...amazing shaving video!!!!!

I just stumbled across this thread and saw the video and instantly recognized it: Some months ago, I saw this clip somewhere else. Already had a faint faint interest in straight razor shaving, and Willi's clip just triggered it. I had to do this too.

Not the speed or anything, but just the whole old-fashioned way of shaving. Brilliant. What concerned me at the time already was the sound! But still, this man breathes "cool" out of every pore. No matter he says "HEIß!!", a natural performer. I enjoyed watching it again.

Willi, Thanks man!I think it's a great video, there have been only two video'sof straight razor shaving that have inspired me, Willi's and this one.

I think this last drinking dude shows a relaxed but decent shaving style. He's quite confident in the actual shaving stuff and it seems he's getting a good result.

Love the drinking bits though, with a good soundtrack.

I dunno, that's about what I used to do with a cartridge razor.

I'm sure that's what guys 100+ years ago used to do too.

I prefer to enjoy the quality of my shave time. Otherwise, what's the point of using a straight (these days that is). If I didn't I'd just use a cartridge or maybe a DE. To each his own though.

Well, to remove the beard. For me anyway, it is the only option I have (or want, actually) at home with which to shave. So whether I want a slow shave or a quick shave the tool is the same

Willi can use the steam or boiling water without risk to the brush because it looks as though the brush is only a knot with no handle to get damaged.
