I think the assumption is that its double speed hence 4=8 mins.

However if you can beat that speed with a REASONABLY close shave and essentially NO NICKS OR CUTS then I wanna hear it.

EDIT: I know it was discussed that its not double speed but lets start with 8 mins and work down

i can shave in 8 mins doing 2 passes, i just wont have a very close shave on the chin area, i can easily spend 4-5 mins in the chin alone if i want a great shave, can you believe it...after over 1 year......
I never thought the video was sped up, also if you havent shaved in a few days a one pass shave well done can almost leave you bbs...dont you agree?

some facts:
it is real time
it was a 3 week barb
i am not thatching anyone
it is not Germany it is Switzerland
it is not boiling water it is steam to make the tool hot
the pre shave preparation was take a shower
sidneykidney is maybe jealous and hi is not easy even not on the photo
it is a old razor used by my gent father
the cat was not serious, stopt bleeding with the aftershave, normaly I do not cut me maybe there was something growing under my barb.
I am glad, my video takes respons.

Congratulations with your video, Willi. I sometimes tend to become so uptight about my shaving and the sharpness of my razors, that it was a liberation to see a guy just shave the way you did. My respect.
Some time ago, I tried reading a bit on the German nassrasur forum, I've read quite a few things they do differently than what is generally advocated here, on SRP. (the trick with the brush, much less stropping, ...)
I think many of us have an open mind about those things and are curious about them.

Thanks for joining us!!!!! you have no idea how much we have enjoyed your video , please tell us how you hone your razors , what are those things you call strops (kidding) , how long you been doing this and whatever it is you know about straight razor shaving.
I would love to hear your point of view.
