Just don't let the wife hear you say you're getting bored!

Austin's collars arrived yesterday so I was able to get my Clark&Hall put together.
Bone scales, nickle silver rod, brass collars and a lead wedge.

Thats some clean looking bone Roy. Nice.
Cute little table saw Mike. Looks like a toy. It cant have a very big motor on it so with a fine toothed blade it would make some fine little cuts. Cool. With all the stuff you got, i might have to hire you to make me a pen. Buying the equipment is just out of the question for me just to play and make a few things for myself.
wife is still away, so i had time to play a little yesterday. 7/8 W&B near wedge in streaked horn. and a 6/8 Taylor XQSite near wedge in black horn.

i used to like cleaning up old razors. now i like cleaning up old razors so i have a reason to break out the stones. my RAD and HAD still show no signs of letting up any time soon.
=]
At least its only RAD and HAD. So many more sicknesses you can still catch. :)
Wait, did i say sickness.
Looking good gentlemen. I love multi colour horn, and bone. They both just seem to wow me.
Nice work, Sloan!
Mr. Noscalemaking me, I am back to jazzing-up old ones.
If you all recall, I had done some bog oak-epoxy in some bug-bites.

I have sanded everything smooth and fine steel-wooled them.
Time to get some Sharpie on them and stick them into the oil.

I polished the bottom metal cap and decided that was too shiny, so I fine steel-wooled it back to less-shiny. Blade is as good as it's gonna get.....

Might get this thing together tomorrow. We shall see.
Looks good to me Tom. So what is the effect of the sharpie? Easier than die or what?
Sharptonn - i am always blown away with how you guys can bring old scales back from the dead. That goes for hand-sanding razors too. I just dont have it in me. Ive never been able to wait and need (near) instant gratification. Which is why id rather make new scales then restore old.
Make you a deal ... if you ever want/need some new custom scales just let me know and ill hook you up. I can even send them un-pinned if you want to assemble yourself since your knowledge and experience far exceed mine.
