More like a cracked blade with serious pitting from celluloid rot! Most wood was just seriously rotted, but we did come across some live termites so the underside of the house will need to be sprayed.

Demolition isn't that bad, it is the constant cleanup and nasty dust in the air I don't care for!
The older part of the house is framed with some type of oak and is really hard. Would cost a fortune to do that now. There is some rough tongue and groove lumber behind the paneling that will probably have to go.
Yep, I don't mind demolition, I suit up for the job... Always hurt myself if I'm not wearing the right gear, but then again I'm quite clumsy.
Got some collars in the mail from Austin, need a few more things and I'll be putting some scales on soon!

EDIT:
I'd like to add that Austin is awesome!
Very good communication, responsive, and generous. Customized my order.
Thanks again for reminding me Tom, I had ordered from him a few years ago and forgot..
Austin, is a great guy to deal with. Only person I know of offering stamped collars.

Time to get working on this Tally Ho razor.
I've got it unpinned. Once I'm done with the blade I'm sure I'll be back around to ask about maybe some light work on the scales, they seem to be in decent shape.
Readied the Reynolds for new skins today.
Quite a bit of fine pitting on the blade, and two deep ones on the back side near the edge, kept me from sanding very much. I'd like to get more of the pitting, but not at the cost of loosing any width from the blade.
So...some 400, 600, 800, Emory on a wool wheel, and 3M metal restorer. A final hand polish with Flitz or Maas before pinning, once the scales are ready.

Here's a close up of the stamp after some time on the buffing wheels and a bit of hand sanding (I ended up with a 1750 rpm buffer).
I'm only going to be using the buffing machine to get off the difficult stuff. I find that the hand sanding and polishing goes fast after that.
I keep kicking myself in the butt for selling a Reynolds just like that Mike! Looking forward to seeing what you end up doing for the scales.
And That Tally Ho has a nice stamp, I keep seeing them with bad stamps.
