That's small work, Mike. When I do glass work, were talkin about separating the hull, remove the floor, stringers, bulkheads and transom, grind it all smooth and start over.
Yep...the whole thing.!!!

Dang Mike, I had no idea that you got that deep in it!
Never seen anybody use a mask like that, I use a 3M full face.
Glad to do it on weekends but wouldn't want to do it every day. Some of the old timers at the boat yard are pretty lax about using a mask and laugh a little when they see me all suited up.
I suit up, and tape everything shut.
The mask is a GI issue, gas mask. The little apparatus near the mouth, hooks into a canteen, and the lever controls the straw on the inside of the mask. It never fogs up. But I wear a junk hoodie, and tie it around the outside of the mask.
Keep a bottle of baby powder in your bench, use it anywhere there is or may become exposed. The powder fills your pores, and helps reduce the " thousand pygmies with spears" itch. :roflmao
Pinned up Josh's Wilkinson, tonight.
Some collarless pinning with nickle silver rod, annealed of course. Alls nice n snug, and went over without a hitch.

Man that does a nice job, of course skilled hands is the big secret.
Great work.
Before I became a school teacher, I did construction. Lots of insulating. The cold showers and baby powder are absolutely the tricks for working with fiberglass. Cover with baby powder and wash with super cold.
I just have a picture in my mind of Mike all gussied-up to do fiberglass......
I might have nightmares!
Incredible job, Mike! :chapeau
So I have another pair spreading.
(Imagine ME saying THAT?)
I sense a big set of twins......
