What are those scales made of?

Old hard-rubber and Bakelite will polish up fine all by it'self.

All done with just a rag and Maas. Need to find some of that up here. Rag turned brown as I rubbed so I knew it was working. Took maybe 20 minutes of med than light pressure.
    Thanks for the tip Tom.

    Cool! No worries, Mike!

I seem to have a 1.1 pound can, mostly full!

Then to my next project. A Wosty Conqueror, that was gifted to me by AlanQ. This is another of his Grandfathers razors. I've been able to clear the rust from the gold etch thus far, using a fiberglass pencil. So I figure I should post some pics of it before I proceed any further.

Looks to be gramps, left a bit of lather between the scales the last time he used it. [emoji1]
Cant wait to see how well this one turns out.
It isnt my Grandfathers though. His other straight was a King Cutter and jsut needs honing which I'll do myself. I got the conqueror at a local antiques store along with the eidelweiss. Figured they would be appropriate thanx and unlike me you could save the gold.

No harm no foul, besides knowing you it will still end up being a work of art.

Nah.. Just cleaned up, and shaving again. Pretty simple procedure for me.
Hopefully I'll have it and the Garantie done tonight, after I get home from work. Well at least, back together. [emoji6]

After you get the humidity right you'll have smooth sailing. Mia taki's are also a great mushroom to grow at home. You'll be a fungi in no time!!!
