Same amount of work to correct the bad geometry might fix some properly instead of amplifying the problem, I think?

You guys would never get me to try that! It would work properly or it gets strung-up!
If you swap your shoes, put them on the wrong feet, comb your hair to the right, and lastly use your left hand to hone on the underside of the stone, while your right holds the stone in the air is what I have found to be the best method to hone messed blades.
Burls, Girls, and all things that Swirl....

It was very touchy to set the bevel but once the bevel was set it wasn't too hard to polish it out. When I felt comfortable with it I ran it over my face dry and it felt shave ready but I won't know tell I actually shave with it.

Just having fun with edges. See my Scratch Aaron1234? Mothers mag its gone.
Lastly the bevel needed some love pre honing. When in doubt hone to a smile.
Yeah that looks about right. My only trouble is removing a 600 grit scratch with mothers polish.

Ok thats not how we test razors. Its funny when a line of hair is left because of a chip. Not so funny when its a burr or spike. No I wont show you pictures. Not a safe way to test just saying.

While gargling 151 with a smoking cigarette in the background. Honing in the mirror over your shoulder. Spitting the 151 over the ashtray into the bathtub and not putting out the cigarette.

Working on a Hayashi Diamond 5072 currently.
Not bad shape cept for some two tone fading across the covered tang. Not sure if it was from sun or cologne over the years.

Presume the tang was all black originally as were the scales. Any ideas on bringing back the black across the entire tang?
Thinking of trying this in some neat red horn material Phrank gave me to try.
    Cheers.

It looks like the very start of a heel hook. Perhaps time for a small heel reduction. Oz did a pretty good thread on it way back when.
