I have 2 so far ready, and hoping to have 2 more ready as well.
I have that Nakayama coming with me and the Nagura's. I do want to see if your results are the same as mine. Dovo I sent type edge.
Jnats also sent a Koma and a Kita to me so ...
Shoot I will just bring the whole hone crate and we can all try stuff out. Bevel set out to 20K in synthetic and then a pile of naturals.

Murphy's law says bring em all if you can Andrew!
Just found out we can get Maas up here at home hardware of all places. Going to go load up on some more. Was the only thing I could think of that I hadn't seen up here, To Jonathan's generous offer of bringing you some hard to find items to the GTG.

And while not shave related, I did shave the back of the knuckles on two fingers doing it.
This happened yesterday but has me still feeling it today so is a cautionary tail.

The clothes dryer, a kenmore elite, started making serious rumbling noise so I took it apart to clean it out. Nothing broken apparently, so realigned the front nylon support, re-greased the main bearing at the back, which is probably pooched, but heck it's the weekend so couldn't get a new one if I wanted. Reassemble everything and hand spin the drum to track the drive belt, then SLICE!
Back of both knuckles get filleted as my hand get pinched between the drum and the machine frame at the top rear side. They warn you the edges are sharp but gents, I could shave with that stamped raw edge! Be careful when working around your home appliances, sometimes they bite you worse than work machinery, specially behind the guards.
Guess there won't be any razors restores going on up here today. Maybe I can hone a few instead..
Was going to post a pic, but it's just nasty, nuff said..
    Cheers.

once I thought about it, the only thing I can think of is... Weed and feed for my dandelions, but technically that's illegal to bring across the border, and denatured alcohol. Struggled with that one a while ago, trying to make a shellac finish from the internet. Methyl hydrate here is the closest. Not sure the difference between the two.

Still a bit concerned with crossing the border with all these blades.Probably going to take some pictures before I leave as proof of ownership before crossing.

I just got an f10 error code on my Kenmore oven. Had the back of that open on Thurs testing some wires with the volt meter. Apparently an f10 code is runaway heat control. The oven is sure what the actual temp inside the oven is. Pain in the ass, I've been baking dinner on the bbq.

    Lets see those knucks Mike!!

Found the top piece of the third knuckle still jammed up in the machine when I finished the job last night.

    Nine one one....
    Lol..

Actually more of a gas leak noise was all I got out as I tried not to bleed on the floor and stuff. A good bite for sure, worst I've had in ages. Luckily, just shy of the actual knuckle pivot point so tight band aids, changed often and I'm right as rain.

When it is just skin, it hurts like the dickens, but repairs are simple and take little time or input. I'm happy to hear it was not any deeper, it doesn't take a lot of depth on the hands to get into the working bits, and then it gets complicated.
It's not what you know, it's who you take fishing!
