Considering making one of these to accommodate fire code in my apt building.

    Edit...
Full disclosure, I haven't watched that video. Might be wrong one... Me thinks a write up is in order...

Cleaned up a Joseph Allen & Son's, medium hollow ground 5/8ths.
Was in a bad mood when I got home from work, so I took my aggression out on the razor.
Started by cutting the rust off with a SE razor blade, then moved to steel wool and goo gone ( out of WD40), with lots of pressure. Then used some Never Dull, with even more pressure.
My hands are shot....but I feel sooo much better now.
And to my suprise...a big smile on my face, after seeing the results.
Didnt think this was going to come out so nice, and I didn't use my dremmel either. [emoji50]

Nice work & I really don't wanna jinx you but did you try setting a bevel on it first ?

Great work Machine Gun Mike! That deserves a big thanks. I don't like you to be in a bad mood, not with the heart issues in the past. I'm so glad you feel better brother!!! Job well done...........

Funny you would say that! Last one of those Med Grind NonXLL's I dealt with, I swore off of them.

That is amazing, great job. We will get you something to soothe those hands. That blade came out very nice.

    Nope... Guarantee it will though.
Spine wear is eaven, and actually is fairly sharp now. Probably the least wear I've ever seen on a Allen.
