Tonight, new blood. Cattaraugus double hollow. This blade intrigues me so I'm going to start removing chips and cleaning.

These are very cool blades. Here's a picture of mine. It's wide at the bottom like a wedge but thin and flexible in the middle. This means you've got to use a VERY light touch on the hones if you want to keep an even bevel. Originally Posted by ejmolitor37
