I would start by measuring the bottom of the narrowest chip, to the spine.

Use that measurement to mark a straight line, to the toe with a sharpie and use that as your guide, bread-knifing or high angle honing, and remove the chips and the frown at the same time.

Get close and sneak up on the line, by honing to the bottom of the chip.

Been doing high angle honing. Working well getting so close to having them out. Been measuring as I go trying to get things equal.

So after removing the chips, and a bit of cleaning things are progressing.
But my neck and back are killing me. Its pretty amazing what your bare finger and Mothers mag polish can accomplish. Some marks are going to have to stay and I can accept this. Dont want to lose any more metal than I have already and wanna keep that etch
