First and Foremost, I apologize for Hijacking this thread as the link isn't to what I've done.

For a few years I was an Auto Body Repairman and I admire this project.

    1. If you listen close you'll hear that the young man whose going to do the work is the 'Step Son' and you'll hear what he thinks about his 'father'.
    2. The work involved is most impressive.
    3. Words can't describe the dedication by the young man and his mother.
    4. I like the second surprise at the end for his mother.

There is a short lack of audio about half way in but it will resume quickly.

    MikeB52 and Steel like this.
Our house is as Neil left it- an Aladdin’s cave of 'stuff'.

    4 more razors in progress.
A wootz Arwen design razor. This is going to be fitted with mammoth tusk ivory.
A wootz chopper that is not getting scales.
A tryout of a new design that can be used either as a fixed handle razor or normal razor. The steel is Damascus from Hank Knickmeyer.
A snailforge standard razor in Turkish Twist Damascus from Ed Schempp, for Ed Schempp.

I'm moving over here from MikeB52's Butchered Blade thread.

Well, last night was lapping the 1200 bevel setter and starting to lap the Thuringian then the work on the Wiss. Tonight I set the bevel on a VERY nice Bismarck and gave it a work out on the fully lapped Thuringian. Many laps later by golly the crazy thing tree topped leg hair so I stropped it on the SRD Premium 1 and put it away for a test shave. Tomorrow I'll test shave last night's Wiss with a two day beard growth. The Bismarck will be two days after that and I'll compare coticule vs Thuringian shaves. If this keeps up I'll need some hair fertilizer for test shaves.
