Making that box fit like it was meant to, not a bad day Tom.

Found this box for 3 W&B Curley Aristos razors with the 'improved tang' with only one razor left.

Looked like my old FBU might fit, so I ran home to get it. It fit, barely, so I gathered up some red material I had and stripped out the box.

Cut and sized a few panels of balsa, some spacers of basswood, a few pieces of thin foam, used some of the fabric salvaged from the bottom of the box. That little glue-tape roller thing is super for this sort of project .

Turned out good, I think! It is super-snug in there, yet comes out easily. Thought about removing the 'Curly' thing, but it is stamped-in, so I left it.

At least I have something to show for today!

Tom, I need to find a box like that for the three I have!!!! Fantastic job!
I would have traded you the A. J Jordan 4 razor box i have & I just checked. The FBU would have fit in it!!!

I just finished honing razor #3 for my cousin. This time it was a NOS Double Duck square point. The bevel wasn't set from the factory and was so rounded I could have sat on the edge all the way back to the fatherland. Anyway I set the bevel with that 1200 of my cousins, finished it up on his Thuringian and gave it a good stropping on the SRD. She tree tops leg hair and I can't wait to grow enough beard to give it a test shave.

Razors honed for him so far are
    1. used Jacob Wiss,
    2. used Bismarck, and
    3. the first one of two NOS Double Ducks.

Tomorrow I'll work on his NOS Boker with a barber notch and smile.
