Thanked: 227No pictures. But today my old man and I fitted a new loft hatch with ladders, so I can utilise the storage.
The downside of all of this is that I now need to go up and start putting down flooring panels.

Four more on the bench.
The Wosty needs cleaned up, and bug bitten horn scales, repaired .
.
The Lion's Brand, needs a clean up, scales cleaned, bleached & one scale extended, at the pivot end.

The Case, Manganese. Just clean up blade and scales, and pin.
The Raug, Graefrat. Is a easy clean.
(Stay in scales), but might change my mind after the initial cleaning.

Thanked: 250I won't have any time this week for my razor hobby. My machine shop is backed up with work. Two Chev. small blocks to bore/hone, rebuild heads for the same, bore/hone 1947 Willys Jeep and do the valves on same, and then rebuild 3 cylinder heads for a Case diesel tractor. Just keep posting outback and MikeB52 at least I can look at eye candy when I come in from the shop.

Thanked: 2284Just fooling around,
I've got this old jig for sharpening DE blades, thought I'd try getting this old Gem blade sharpened up. Trying to set the bevel on my worn out Atoma 1200, then onto a double sided Barbers hone that thinner than the Atoma. Will make a micro bevel but I think it's the only way. Nice thing is, the head of the jig swivels so I can do 10 strokes on one side, flip and do 10 strokes on the other. Sure would be cool if I can get a decent edge on this thing.
