The Clauss has been sanded. Its gonna be hard giving this one back to the guy as trade for the other razors, but i made a deal. I was just gonna clean it a little and hone it up, but i decided to take it up a notch.

Cutting out Black Walnut for scales tomorrow evening after work. No liners or anything fancy, just wood and stain. Gonna see if i can knock one out in two days but i'm betting three.

Its a nice lookin' piece of steel IMO.

Looks good MW76! I have a couple Clauss's that have some really nice sharp blades on 'em. I love the edge they have.

Don't think I've ever shaved, with any bad blades, from the states.

Took the Ern apart, last night. Cleaned the rust out from the pivot area, and gave it a little cleaning.
Put it back together, this morning.

Sorry a little late seeing this.

WOW! The color!! Excellent!!! Cordovan/blood? I want to try that to one of my oak brushes. Will you share what color of stain that is? Did you blacken the grain?

Hmmm... hopefully it is not impolite to ask such things?

Such a simplistic/robust style in your work and now you add color. I can't wait to see what you share next.

Finally have my Hessenbruch pinned. Before I did, however, I considered my Steinbaur which was poking through the bottom....

Some scale swaps went well. Lots of different widths and shapes amongst these crazy shades! Re-used the collars. I suppose a seven day set of stripers is forthcoming!

ALSO, My old woodworking landlord exchanged making me a mug shelf for a dozen mugs after I took most all day cleaning gas tanks, carburetors, oil change/tune-up on a generator and a pressure washer.

I have collected some of these, and the others, I dealt Wyobarbershop (Josh) out of. Hope to persuade my other neighbor to laminate it slick black.
Otherwise, I will paint it black.
