Got all the components made and ready to pin up the Waterville.
Found some smaller washers for doming the other day, but felt they were to small for this application. So chose to use the larger washers with a under washer. The wear washers are made from .005 brass shim material by drilling a 1/16" hole into the material, then punching them out with a paper punch.

I'm really happy with the outcome of this. Can't wait for the shine of the collars to dull and the pins to tarnish, but it won't take long. The wall in the background in the pics " IS " old distressed barn wood.

Made up the scales in black horn, and made my first lead wedge from a tackle sinker.

Ya brother. Those look excellent Mike. Sometime I feel like I should rescale all my old Sheffy blades like this.
When I still had time for working on my razors I struggled a lot with restoring scales and making new ones. It is often way faster to make new ones than restore the old ones.
Those new ones are awesome.
