Those scales turned out nice, outback! What is that wood again?
It's teak. A water resistant wood used in the marine industry. Quite strong too, for a open grain.
My friends had them as well. Our little town was a Honda town, back then.Quote:

That teak reminds me of some old bog oak. I have to remember your stain recipe. That would work well on an old chest I have that needs some work.
Equal parts vinager/ water, a tea bag, coffee, and steel wool. Just google..Quote:
