It only had a reaction with superglue after I applied the accelerator. I did not try super glue alone.

The NCF accelerator is different from many of the other brands of accelerators. It stays in place longer, which leads me to think it has less solvent in it. I have used others in the past and they evaporate much quicker than NCF.
Yes... They make different accelerators for different types of material.

So I was looking over the stale threads populating the Forum page and saw one that I have seen for quite awhile: Building Lather on the Soap. Except I read 'building a lathe from soap.'

I recommend NCF. :) I find all the other stuff turns turns CA that cloudy white more than the NCF
