What are you working on?

Finished the scales for the John Shaw.
Stained, and then lightly sand.
Three coats of satin finish, Minwax, polycrylic.
Clean the blade with steel wool and goo gone.
Pinned it up tonight, finishing the five, plus two more straights and a DE travel razor.

The Wade & Butcher has been honed, and was test shaved this morning.
"Well yeah" it shaves great !!!

That stain system is the bomb for making the wood scales look old. You've got that one dialed in.

So what about that chip in the toe, Mikeo? :D

That looks dang good Mike! I was never that big into stains but im really liking the look it gave those scales! Gonna have to try it out. Another blade finds a home by Machine Gun Mike!
