I think you will figure it out. As for sourcing them, the guy sell on eBay under the name razor-handles I believe, he is in Germany.

Working on a Japanese blade I've had for a while.
Hayashi Diamond with covered tang I'm putting in Blackwood.
Searched on the net for some scales inspiration for this particular build.

Going to try some 24k gold wash in the resulting channels. With repeat passes I'm hoping I can burn deep enough with the beam to survive final sanding without washing out the gold.

We shall see.
Cheers gents.
That laser is a pretty useful toy in this hobby. I think the goldwash is a good idea. I'm watching!
I've repaired it a few times.

Haha! It all makes perfect sense now. Thanks!
The Greaves with end cap is coming along. I haven't had many chances to work on it lately but little at a time. Still need to do some polish work on the spine and tang and also on the scales.

The spine is kind of cool, it comes to a pretty nice ridge, the sides meet in a point along the top instead of rounded.

I like this end cap design on the scales. I have a pair of Packwoods with the same end cap, too. Maybe more evidence that Greaves was involved with making Packwood razors, who knows?
