I went back through and found that, such a great project! Even though I had looked at that thread from time to time in small pieces, this time I went through 100 pages or so all at once and it was, well... humbling to say the least. Same is true with this "what are you working on?" thread and several others. You guys have seriously... scary... SKILLS!!:tu
If I like it, I will remove the scales and do a full cleanup/polish. It's a little dirty around the hinge pin where I couldn't reach.
Thanks kindly, that thread, and this one is a goldmine for fixer upper ideas for sure.
Tried a lot of things with blades that were already dead over there, and a fair number came out well for a few rebuilders..I'm happy to be one of em.
That particular WB blade is in the States on vacation actually in one of Trump's swing states I do believe..
:)

But Tom Canada has never stopped being great!
Tom are you one of the numerous?

Not the numerous, but the select few! ;)
I HAVE made Canada great(er) with some Shumates sent up, for certain.
A St Louis smiler still resides with me, however! Harrywally has the twin.
Still looking for the elusive Austin, Texas version in good nick.....

Gentlemen... I apologize in advance but once I stopped chuckling.. I've got to admit Cockrell and Bonner just go together like peanut butter and jelly. It's not that Cockrell and Bonner is anything out of the ordinary. It's just how did two fellows with such names come together like that. Amazing and slightly comical. What is the history on them?
