That is what I meant, on the blade or the "show" sides of scales would be ruining the looks IMHO

I write the year and my initials on the wedge. Youd have to take the razor apart to see it but its there.

I've initialized the inside of some scales before. But now the hardware, and pinning are my signature.

Got the pies all flattened, now the process of gluing them all together. I glue a new pie on every half hour with a veneer in between each layer. The big block of Walnut isn't part of the handle, it's just to press against during the gluing process.
