I messed up a bit when I made the half circle for the forks to hold the brush. Made them slightly too wide, which made the hairs touch the base of the stand ever so slightly. Can't have that so I added some small piece's of the contrasting burl to the inside which raises the brush up a bit. Worked perfectly and I think the look is nice too.
