man the only way my patients let along skills could get to that degree of detail would be with a laser or water jet cutter
actually not sure I could even draw that to be teh guide for the machine LOL
The work on the ivory is vintage, I'm sadly not able to make this kind of details, but I'm working to make use of it as scales, fitting the tortoise, nail it, then working on the blade.
Anyway, I like it a lot.
I think that the artisan that worked on this piece of ivory (back in the XIXth century) probably started to learn his work before his 10 :shrug:
