Ts the season to be careful..
Sorry to hear of the accident. Hope you are on the mend.
I've had to switch my shifts all around. One of my key guys broke his tibial plate and needed screws, a plate, and some synthetic bone for good measure. Will be covering weekends for some time till he's back at work. Bad time to be laid out.
Stay safe gens.
Cheers.
I used to get 150 Norco's every month for my back since I've had 2 back surgeries but the doctor started cutting me back because of the dea getting onto them from people going to several doctors & selling them on the streets, so I quit going to him because it wasn't worth going anymore. Then at the ER tonight the gave me Tylenol 3's which don't do anything for me! At least I'm not addicted to them like the druggies are! They never made me high, they just took my pain away & I was able to do my normal thing.
Needed a tusk stand (Ikea was out of them)so I made one out of oiled Padauk.

Imagine the size of the Walrus that it came from. Now that is from a long time ago. In original picture you can see color changes that are consistent with the first stages of fossilization process. Think Wolly Mammoth tusks for the end stages colors. Given the additional facts that you see no chipping or major cracks in the tusk itself speaks to its being well taken care of for a least 50 in not 100 years.
