Awhile back I acquired another Otto Deutsch Hans straight with good scales but a bad blade. I have now acquired one with bad scales & a good blade so guess what? You got it...............blade swap! The one with the good blade is missing the makers inlay on the scales. I'll have one good Otto Deutsch Hans straight when done!
Umm. Blade one looks like it has cell rot, so the scales might not be as nice as the look. Have you done any testing?
I would watch your new blade carefully, the bad blade looks to me like it got a case of cell rot. oops rezdog beat me to it!Quote:

You could put it in a sealed container or a ziploc bag with a Gold Dollar or another blade that it essentially rust free an let them make friends for a little while. If the introduced razor starts to look like the original blade you have big trouble in little container.
