It's a beautiful display set ! And I guess the kamisori worth it. :)

Will you store it in a dry room ? I would fear the condensation on the razor (but I do live in a wet country).

Thanks.I just oiled it,same as my razors. I know nothing about Kamis,Never used one, never will.
Just had a couple in a drawer.

If the blade pictured is the one you intend to restore, I don't see that any work needs to be done. A close up may reveal more but it looks nice enough as is from this distance.

Sorry I was not clear....max S already did his magic on my trusty.
I don't have the tools nor talent nor body armor to tackle the blade resto
Max did a fab job. If you listen carefully it sounds like a light saber.

Working on my second restore, I very thin razor marked "Norton special 1401". The scales were cracked at the ends (seems almost a given on the cheep eBay razors). Razor still needs a final polish.

I wanted to try something a bit different so the scales are going to be /are made from a granite effect sculpy lined with Nickel steel. I'm not sure if its going to work yet but as the saying goes nothing ventured nothing gained.
